REGIONAL NGO FAIR - NEGOTINO

After successful realization of the previous four fairs held in Strumica, Gostivar, Debar and Delcevo, Fondation Open Society Institute Macedonia organized the fifth NGO fair in June 14th and 15th, 2007 in Negotino.

PROMOTION OF CIVICUS

Macedonian Center for International Cooperation on 24th April 2007 in Hotel Holyday Inn in Skopje promoted the Civil Society Index (CSI) in Republic of Macedonia. After that, the debate on topic: “The future relations of civic society sector and the Government regarding the Strategy” was realized.


	NEW REGULATIONS IN THE TAX LAWS CONCERNING CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS *“What are the main tax liabilities for civil society organizations?“* “Are there possible incomes from CSO’s direct investments?“ “Could CSO’s to perform direct economy activities?” The answers of these and other questions that concern civil society organizations you can find on the third from the serial of seminars “The new regulations in the tax laws concerning civil society organizations”, that will be hold on 4th of September 2007 (Tuesday) at 11.00 to 15.00 in the offices of Association for democratic initiatives – ADI in Gostivar.

	TAX BENEFITS FOR CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS The project “Tax benefits for civil society organizations” is part of the Civil Platform of Macedonia program (2006-2007) financed by European Union and managed by European Agency for Reconstruction. The seminars are integral part of the series of activities from the project where leading and implementation organization is Macedonian centre for International Cooperation (MCIC) in the frame of the program component “Improvement of legal and fiscal framework for CSOs”.
