REGIONAL NGO FAIR  - NEGOTINO

     After the successful realization of the previous four fairs held in Strumica, Gostivar, Debar and Delcevo, Fondation Open Society Institute Macedonia organized the fifth NGO fair in June 14th and 15th, 2007 in Negotino.

      The public had a chance to get familiar with the activities of the civil society organizations and to establish basis for better regional cooperation among related NGOs.

     The coordinator of the program Civil Society, Suncica Kostovska – Petrovska has opened the fair emphasizing that the serial of regional fairs was received very well by the citizens and civil society organizations. In the opening ceremony took part Jutta Bulling, representative from European Agency for reconstruction and Gjorgji Kimov, the Mayer of Negotino.

      In the NGO fair agenda was official opening the new offices of Centre for Local development ANTIGONEA (former NGO support Centre Negotino).

      Total forty organizations from Negotino, Skopje, Kavadarci, Veles, Gevgelija, Resen, Prilep, Strumica, Stip, Demir Kapija, Kratovo, Valandovo, Delchevo etc. took participation in the NGO fair activities. With promotion of the programs in exhibition place, on forum discussions and presentations, organizations had a possibility to achieve their goals and realize their activities. The socio cultural events illustrated the cultural and traditional values.

     Regional NGO fairs in Strumica, Gostivar, Debar, Delcevo and Negotino are part of the project “Support to a National Civil Society Forum/ Platform” financed by EU and managed by European Agency for reconstruction, and are organized in the name of Civil Platform of Macedonia.
