The Union of Women's Organizations of Republic of Macedonia (UWOM) is non-governmental women's organization, which was established in October 1994. The UWOM is a multiethnic network of 70 Women's Associations. The UWOM vision is gender equality, guaranteed women's rights, elimination of women's discrimination in the society and in the family. The UWOM is NGO focal point in the SP GTF, as well as member within the International Council of Women (ICW) with consultative status in the ECOSOC/UN. |
