Macedonian Enterprise Development Foundation (MEDF) is a citizen and non-profit foundation, founded in 1998 by the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation (MCIC). MEDF’s activities, defined as financial and non-financial services, are aimed at supporting opportunities for employment and development of small and medium businesses. With 9.2 million euros of available funding for financial services, through the accredited financial intermediaries, loans in overall amount of over 16 million eurors to 3,536 entrepreneurs were disbursed. These enterprises have employed 6,410 people, and with the new investments made via the loans, they are planning to have 1,070 new employments.
