ADU is a multiethnic non-governmental organization in special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations established in Gostivar in 1994. It implements human rights and civil society projects that promote democracy and support peace and stability in Macedonia and Southeast Europe. To date, ADI has implemented hundreds of projects throughout Macedonia and has begun doing the same in neighboring countries. To better reach our objectives ADI has established offices in Kosovo, Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina and the USA.
